Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how ExactBlue Inc. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or make a purchase from aquavial.shop (the "Site"). We operate the AquaVial brand and are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy was last updated on May 8, 2026.
Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this as "Device Information". This includes:
- Web browser, IP address, time zone, and operating system
- Cookies installed on your device (small data files used to remember preferences and recognize repeat visitors)
- Pages or products you view, websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site (analytics)
When you make or attempt to make a purchase, we collect "Order Information" from you, including:
- Name, billing address, shipping address
- Email address and phone number
- Payment information (credit card numbers and similar payment details, processed securely by our payment provider — we do not see or store full card numbers)
Together, Device Information and Order Information are referred to as "Personal Information" in this policy.
How we use your personal information
We use the Order Information that we collect to:
- Fulfill your order (process payment, arrange shipping, send invoices and confirmations)
- Communicate with you about your order or about the AquaVial brand
- Screen orders for potential fraud or risk
- If you opt in, send marketing communications about new products, promotions, or water-safety educational content
We use Device Information to:
- Improve and optimize the Site (analytics and performance monitoring)
- Help us screen for fraud and security risks (especially using your IP address)
- Measure the success of our marketing campaigns
Sharing your personal information
We share your Personal Information with the following categories of third parties to operate the Site and fulfill your orders. We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

- Payment processors. Payments are processed by secure third-party providers (such as Shopify Payments, Stripe, and PayPal). We do not see or store full payment card numbers.
- Shipping carriers. We share your shipping address and contact details with shipping providers (such as Canada Post, USPS, UPS, and DHL) so they can deliver your order.

- Email and marketing platforms. If you sign up for our newsletter or opt in to marketing emails, we use email-marketing platforms to send those messages. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email.
- Customer-support platforms. If you contact us, we may use third-party customer-support tools to manage and respond to your inquiry.
- Legal and regulatory. We may share Personal Information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests (subpoena, search warrant), or protect our rights.
Behavioural advertising
We may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe will be of interest to you. Do Not Track
Our Site does not currently alter its data collection or use practices when it receives a Do Not Track signal from your browser, because there is no consistent industry standard for how to interpret these signals.
Your rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, update, port, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We process your information in order to fulfill contracts with you (e.g. when you place an order) and to pursue our legitimate business interests as described in this policy. Your information may be transferred outside Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
If you are a resident of California (CCPA), you have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. If you are a resident of Canada, our handling of your personal information is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. Data retention
When you place an order, we retain your Order Information for our records (typically 7 years for tax and accounting purposes) unless and until you ask us to delete it. We retain marketing consent records for as long as you remain subscribed.
Children's privacy
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@aquavial.shop and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "last updated" date.
